Naturopath Mentor
Becoming a Naturopath is one of my greatest achievements. We become Naturopaths from passion, we don’t do it to have a high paying career.
We do it because really want to make a difference.
But what if you cant make a difference because you either:
a. Are not seeing enough clients
b. You are burning the candle at both end because of the number of clients you see. You don’t have the financial resources or stability to take on more team and so you have no leverage.
c. Your clinical experience is limited so you are stuck on complex cases?
d. You just don’t know where to begin?!
Let me teach you my learnings of how I went from being sole Naturopath to now having 5 Naturopaths in my clinic with raving followers.
It was certainly not an overnight success. In 2013 I founded Integrated Wellness Clinic burning with passion, drive and motivation. But there is only so long this can last. I wish I could say it has all been smooth sailing. But it has been far from it. There were times when I felt so incredibly burnt out, that I wondered am I living the life that I preach to my clients to live (ie. work life balance, taking time out, eating home cooked meals, exercising and being in nature).
When we opened the doors and in the early days I was stocked to get 1 or 2 new clients a week. Fast forward a few months and I thought it would be a great idea to open a second clinic, as I was certain it was the location that was the issue. We then opened a clinic further south and while that helped it was not the answer. We started to build traction, attracting more and more clients, but my debt was getting bigger and bigger on top of the $30K I spent to become a Naturopath.
I then engaged a business coach, researched, tested and measured everything and figured out the formula to a successful Naturopath clinic thriving with over 100 clients per week and making a huge wave of positive impact on the Sunshine Coast.
I figured out a way to reach an audience seeking Naturopathic services outside of the Sunshine Coast, stretching to all corners of the globe.
We have grown our team substantially as a result of my learnings. A few years ago if you had of told me that I would be able to employ full time Naturopaths I would’ve said you are crazy. It is possible!

Sometimes it is reassuring to have a second opinion on a difficult case. This is a chance to strengthen your clinical skills. At times the case is very complex and I feel it is worthwhile engaging my team on the case, you are then getting a wealth of knowledge and experience to help your client reach their true health potential.
